I love binder clips... {Confession: I actually love all office supplies!} They're so much more secure than paper clips. But plain white binder clips are B.O.R.I.N.G.
I took my binder clips from this:
To this!
I used two small pieces of tape for each clip. {The two pieces meet on the top of the clip and run from side to side...} Because I wanted the lines and dots to line up perfectly, this little project took a little time - but I'd say it's worth it!
So much better, right??

Very cute. I am having a problem with washi tape not sticking. I have bought several different brands and the ends seem to eventually start curling off the psper...even after pressing on to smooth out. Any suggestions? I would love to make some of these clips. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteConfession: the yellow chevron hasn't stuck very well... All the others have, but for whatever reason {maybe I just touched the sticky too much}, it doesn't stick as well... You could try using Mod Podge over the tape to seal it... I have two different brands... One from PickYourPlum.com and the other brand is from Michaels... Hope that helps!
