If you want to participate in a blog hop {the same hop is linked to several other blogs}, click here... It lasts a few weeks, so be sure to check it out!
I bought a bulletin board on clearance over a year ago... It's been through three makeovers, and I finally like it! First, I spray painted the cork and frame and didn't like it. For its second makeover, I covered the cork with a light purple fabric and used a greenish colored ribbon to accent. It was truly hideous! That's when I hid the bulletin board and never used it! {I should have taken pictures so you could agree with me...} Last week I dug out some fabric I purchased a long time ago for another project, and when I decided this fabric wouldn't work because of the directional print, I thought, "That's it! I'll use it to recover my currently hideous bulletin board!"
I had some felt from another project and made this little flower... It's hot glued to a thumb tack and can be removed without damaging the frame!
I'm not much of a bulletin board person, but I think I might become one... Or I'll just leave it empty because I love the colors so much! Haha... Not really.
Hope you have a productive week!

Such a cute idea!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Have a great Monday!
DeleteLove that fabric and your felt flower is soooo adorable. It's amazing how a piece of fabric can transform almost anything. I also checked out your craft closet organization post. I never would have thought to use a pants hanger for ribbon. I may just have to go get one of those for my ribbon. I'm a new follower visiting from Clean & Scentsible's Wednesday's Creative Sparks.
