Delicious Dinosaur Eggs

Some of you spotted Dinosaur Eggs in a recent picture... I haven't had them in years {like more than five years}, but boy - I'm glad I finally made them! My mom made these when I was a kid... They're technically called Padysaurus Pizza Pockets, but we just called them dinosaur eggs! I'm sure my mom used pizza toppings in them a few times, but I especially remember her using ham, broccoli and cheese.

Since we didn't have any ham {and I've already made my second trip to the store for this month}, we substituted leftover turkey from the freezer. Now that I remember how delicious these are, I plan to experiment with toppings.

This isn't my original recipe, so I'm not going to post it here on my blog... But you can find the recipe here - they're fairly simple to make, and you can mix up the ingredients depending on what you have!

I hope this has removed any concern you may have had about us eating scrambled dinosaur eggs... Thanks for stopping by - hope you have a great day!
